Sue and me on a lockdown daily walk (April 2020)

I was born in North London. I come from a non-church going, single parent family. My mum is one of my heroes, raising me on her own in an era when that was uncommon and often carried a stigma. God made Himself known to me when I was a child and I welcomed Him into my life aged 10 years. It’s been an exciting, fulfilling and eventful journey since!

I am married to Sue (35 years!) and together we have three adult daughters, all of whom are now married to great men, and (currently) four grandchildren.

I trained and practised as a lawyer for over 18 years. I have also started four businesses and continue to run two of them. From 2012, I pastored a church in the UK which, by the grace of God, grew in eight years from a handful of people to over 200.

Faith, family and friends are the most important things to me. Father God has proved so kind, loving and faithful through the ups and downs of life. Family are such a blessing and we are so thankful that our relationships with our daughters have morphed into great friendships. They all have good and Godly men in their lives, who we also have strong relationships with. We feel blessed beyond measure that they all know Jesus.

Other friendships have withstood the test of time, not to mention trials and troubles! We are so thankful to our dear friends who have endlessly loved us, believed in us, supported us and encouraged us. You know who you are. We are privileged to have you in our lives.

I’ve lived in London, Tunbridge Wells, Leeds, Guildford, Oxford, Cheltenham and (currently) Gloucester (all UK).

I love travelling, walking, cycling, photography, reading, watching movies/box sets, cooking and quality time with family & friends over a meal, a good coffee, a glass of wine – or some combination of any of the above!
